All in one way or another added to the work of the Operators at COOPER and JERSEY and the Yard Masters at Pavonia Yard. Before the 1960's when the yard was rebuilt there were two yards in East Camden, East and West. During the construction of PATCO Hi-Speedline, the 32 track hump yard was built, and the diesel facillities were moved to the current River Road location,and the 2 story tower was closed and moved to the final location, west of River Road.
